What is the PTA all about?
The Parent Teacher Association is the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation.
Crestwood PTA strives to help our school achieve more.
We organize many of the schools fundraising efforts.
*Blaze the Trail
*Market Day
*Silent Auction
*Box Tops
*Papa Johns and Red Pepper Day
We organize many of the fun events throughout the school year.
*Breakfast with Santa
*Kentucky Kids Day
*Reflections Art Program
*Kindergarten Round-Up
*Fifth Grade Graduation
All of these events need YOU. There are so many ways that you can help.
We know that many of you have commitments that get in the way of being involved with the PTA. We would like to share with you some reasons why it is important to be involved.
*Be informed, find out what great things are going on.
*Show your child(ren) that you support their school and them.
*Get involved and meet some new people.
*Help to grow the schools fundraising efforts and be able to help the staff more.
*Help to make Crestwood the best it can be.
Did you know that the fundraising efforts of the PTA result in an average of an extra $90.00 per student , to spend!! Imagine what we could do with a little more. The PTA made it possible for the school to fund many items last year that it otherwise would not have been able to do. Here are a few of those items:
*Much needed new basketball goals
*Beautification of the entrance
*New music and math curriculums
Even parents too busy to participate in meetings and events are welcome members. Their membership dues not only support the PTA at Crestwood, but a portion also goes to the state and national level program and is used to advocate for educational reform and funding.
